FAQ

Questions, answered

Why mirror a design for iron-on vinyl?

HTV is applied face-down, so the design must be flipped or it will appear backwards.

Which canvas mode should I use for laser work?

Keep the original canvas when its dimensions are your material boundary. Expand it when you must keep every part of a rotated design.

Does the SVG remain vector?

Yes. SVG is downloaded as a vector copy. Images are downloaded as a new image copy; your original never changes.

When should I check the result in an editor?

For masks, filters, clip paths, external images or complex styles, check the downloaded SVG in CorelDRAW or Inkscape before production.
