Made for physical frames, tags and keepsakes
When a photo must fit a wooden frame, a round keyring or an oval plaque, changing only the image dimensions is not enough. This tool keeps the final measurement clear while you decide which part of the photo belongs inside the shape.
Practical guide
Prepare a shaped photo without guessing
- Measure the visible opening, not the outside edge of the frame.
- Choose the closest editable shape and enter the final width and height.
- Use Fill for edge-to-edge photos; use Fit when every part of the original photo must remain visible.
- Move, zoom and rotate until the important subject sits safely inside the dashed guide.
- Download PNG. The area outside the selected shape is transparent.
Questions and answers
Before you export
Will the crop remove the background?
Yes. The downloaded PNG has transparent pixels outside the selected shape. This is useful for product mockups, design layouts and printing on non-rectangular media.
Which images can I use?
Use JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, SVG and common phone photos. HEIC/HEIF support depends on your browser; if a phone photo cannot be read locally, export a JPG or PNG copy first.
Why does the heart change when I change size?
The shape follows the final width and height. Use the size fields to match the real item, then use Zoom to make the person or object larger inside that shape.
